winter pastels – how to wear blush pink

in Fashion, Shopping on 01/23/15

Guys. It’s Fri-yay! Wahoo!! I always love the weekend (duh), but I’m extra excited about this weekend. About twice a year, a few friends and I get together for a girl’s weekend. As you can imagine, it involves a lot of wine, cheese, giggling and gossip. All of the good things, right? This is probably obvious, but if I could use one colour to describe these weekends, it’s pink. Since I’m feeling inspired by pink, I’ve put together some of my current favourite pieces, to help you navigate through the idea of how to wear blush pink.

How to wear Blush pink (in the fall and winter):

Pretty in Pink - How to wear blush pink / somethingaboutthat.com

Get the look:

Coat: H&M // Skirt: Topshop // Weekly Desk Pad: Riflepaper Co. // Sandals: Splendid

Pen: Indigo // Sweater: H&M // Scarf: Aritzia // Glasses: Clearly Contacts

Perfume: Viktor & Rolf // Highlight : Benefit

I love pink. It’s always been one of my favourite colours and probably always will be. I especially love light, pastel pink, because it carries with it a classic, girly vibe. Pink is pretty and pink is fun. Who doesn’t like things that are pretty and fun? A lot of people tend think that pastels are best suited for the spring and summer, but that’s not the case. I hope this post offers you some ideas and inspiration for how to wear blush pink in winter and fall, too.

As you can imagine, my wish-list is getting a bit out of hand right now. Pink seems to be everywhere this season and so many colours compliment it. I’m creating a lot of outfit ideas in my mind, but for now, this particular outfit I thought up lives on Pinterest.

Will you be wearing pastel pink this fall and winter ?

Ahhh seriously?! I would obviously expect that you’re planning a pretty wedding, but I bet I will literally love all of the details when you share!! 🙂

The watch is from Kate Spade. Probably not a huge surprise there.

OH! I LOVE that gorgeous pastel pink as well! Pink is one of my favorite colors (as you can see by my blog design haha) and I’ve always been super keen on the soft feminine look. Anything with lace is right up my alley as well! Need everything on your wishlist 😉

I love pink too! It’s such a cool colour because each shade of it is so incredibly different. I love bright magenta, but I also love a soft blush pink. That pink jacket you posted is a beauty!

After so many months of waiting, we finally said goodbye to our little Toronto rental and moved to our new home in Newmarket!

The next week or so will be a state of chaos, as the house isn’t exaaaaaaactly ready yet, but that’s okay - we’re here! 🥰

2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all r 2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all remember. It’s been a big rollercoaster, but there’s no one else I’d rather ride it with than @woodley.matt 🥰

We’ve endured so.many.challenges this year...but we’ve also had some of the best and most exciting moments of our lives this year.

I still can’t believe we bought a house, got engaged AND got a puppy this year (all within a month)! 🤯

Nobody knows what 2021 will bring, but what we do know is, it will start the same way 2020 ended: at home.

I also know we will finally be finishing and moving into our new home in early 2021, and I CANNOT WAIT!! As for wedding plans...ehh, it’s a little tricky to plan these days, so we’ll cross that bridge a little later 😜

Wishing you all a safe and happy new year at home! 🥳 (which I’m totally okay with - I’m a 👵🏻 anyways)

I picked up knitting needles for the first time in 10+ years (maybe more?!) at the start of the pandemic. I bought a DIY unicorn kit and it took me months before I got around to finishing it. Still, I enjoyed it.

So, this year, I thought it would be fun to knit up a few gifts for Christmas presents.

My next project? I’m going to attempt to knit myself a cardigan. 🤭😲🤗

Christmas 2020 - like many things this year, not “normal,” but we made plenty of memories.

We had a low-key Christmas morning, filled with Bailey’s coffee, Miller snuggles (and weird facial expressions) and cinnamon buns. We finished off the day with a Jewish Christmas dinner: Chinese take out!
