Tribal Printed Cardigan from Target, Black Top, Pink Lace Skirt from Joe Fresh

This week has been flying by for me, so I can’t believe it’s already Thursday. It’s funny, I initially thought that I’d be bored this week…but I was wrong.

I’ve been busy running errands all week, and I have a couple of interviews for some part time work for the summer. Even though I’ll be in school full-time, this girl needs an income! There’s certain luxuries that I don’t want to have to give up, like my morning Americano, so a few hours of work a week will help.

While I have money saved, it’s scary not to know when I’ll have a proper income again. I’ve been out of work for under a week and I’m already starting to feel guilty about certain purchases, even if they’re essential. I have a feeling I’ll be a very smart shopper this summer! Of course, I should mention that I bought this tribal printed cardigan from Target, so it was affordable.

There’s so much going on in this outfit, but it works so well together! I love the pink, black and teal colours.

I can’t get enough of your skirt it’s so pretty and soft and feminine – I love how it looks against those tough shoes! Great touch with the kimono – very boho! The element mixing in this outfit is fantastic!
I can imagine how nerve-wracking it must be during this in-between phase of quitting your job and starting school but I can also imagine how exciting it must be as well! I’m so happy for you and I can’t wait to follow along on your adventures! I’m sure you’ll learn so much and I’m excited to see what you’ll be sharing with us :]

What a beautiful mix and so well styled, this could have gone horribly wrong, lol. Being a shopaholic without income is no bueno ( I should know 😉 like you said, I’m sure you will become an even smarter shopper this summer and a challenge is always fun!

School is great but I remember how necessary a part time job was so I could keep up with my bad shopping habit, haha! Love those booties on you!

After so many months of waiting, we finally said goodbye to our little Toronto rental and moved to our new home in Newmarket!

The next week or so will be a state of chaos, as the house isn’t exaaaaaaactly ready yet, but that’s okay - we’re here! 🥰

2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all r 2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all remember. It’s been a big rollercoaster, but there’s no one else I’d rather ride it with than @woodley.matt 🥰

We’ve endured so.many.challenges this year...but we’ve also had some of the best and most exciting moments of our lives this year.

I still can’t believe we bought a house, got engaged AND got a puppy this year (all within a month)! 🤯

Nobody knows what 2021 will bring, but what we do know is, it will start the same way 2020 ended: at home.

I also know we will finally be finishing and moving into our new home in early 2021, and I CANNOT WAIT!! As for wedding plans...ehh, it’s a little tricky to plan these days, so we’ll cross that bridge a little later 😜

Wishing you all a safe and happy new year at home! 🥳 (which I’m totally okay with - I’m a 👵🏻 anyways)

Now that these have been gifted, I can share these Now that these have been gifted, I can share these!

I picked up knitting needles for the first time in 10+ years (maybe more?!) at the start of the pandemic. I bought a DIY unicorn kit and it took me months before I got around to finishing it. Still, I enjoyed it.

So, this year, I thought it would be fun to knit up a few gifts for Christmas presents.

My next project? I’m going to attempt to knit myself a cardigan. 🤭😲🤗

Christmas 2020 - like many things this year, not “normal,” but we made plenty of memories.

We had a low-key Christmas morning, filled with Bailey’s coffee, Miller snuggles (and weird facial expressions) and cinnamon buns. We finished off the day with a Jewish Christmas dinner: Chinese take out!

I’m finishing up the last of the gifting projects and then it’s onto baking cookies! 💁🏼‍♀️
