Bloggers and brunch. The two go hand-in-hand, at least, in Toronto. To me, brunch feels like it was a meal made for bloggers. The lighting at that time of day is perfect for shooting photos, but more importantly, the food is both beautiful and delicious. A couple of weeks ago, I enjoyed a fantastic brunch at Ufficio, with some of my blogger friends, Eleni, Gabriella, Joelle and Rebeca. All I can say is, with great food and company, brunch at Ufficio did not disappoint!
What I wore to Brunch
Brunch at ufficio
Ufficio is an Italian-inspired restaurant, featuring a pescatarian menu. Everything is made in-house, including the incredible bread that serves as the base for some of their brunch dishes. The service was impeccable, the space was beautiful, and of course, the food and drinks were delicious. I ordered the “pan con tomate”, which is a Spanish-style tomato toast. The tomato toast is topped with a variety of exotic mushrooms, a poached egg, and ricotta salata. It was so good that I’m still dreaming going back and ordering it again!
I should also add, the staff didn’t seem to mind our blogger antics (aka – taking 49543 photos before we ordered any food…and then taking more photos before eating ). They were also so kind as to seat us by the window because…lighting.
I should also add, Rebeca is so sweet. She showed up to brunch with a Lux Flower Box for each of us! I had seen some of their beautiful arrangements floating around my Instagram feed, so I was thrilled to have my own. If you haven’t heard of them before, Lux Flower Box a premium flower delivery company – the first of its kind in Toronto. Their arrangements are a perfect to gift to send to family or friends, as well as clients. I promised myself that I wouldn’t mention the holidays until after Halloween…but, they’re great as holiday gifts, too.
