After what feels like a very slow start to the season, it’s finally starting to feel like summer! Over the last little while, I’ve been building my summer wardrobe, but until recently, the weather hasn’t been cooperating. Thankfully, I think Mother Nature got the memo. It’s been beautiful for the last few days and this weekend’s forecast is no different. The beautiful weather has really got me thinking how can create the perfect summer wardrobe. I’ve spent time on Style Theory, where you can find your perfect designer dress, to really have that immediate wow factor this summer. Now that it’s nice enough to wear all of my summer clothes, I wanted to share the summer outfit ideas from Lemonberry that I styled for our shoot a few weeks ago.
Look #1: Blazer + Shorts
Get The Look:
Belted Blazer | Crochet Flowy Top | Denim Shorts | Handbag
This was my favourite look of the day because I love the raw denim shorts. After all, they are a summer wardrobe staple. Even with all of the distressing, they’re very versatile. In my opinion, totally worth the investment. To give my look more style and interest for the shoot, I added the crochet top and blazer. On most days though, I’d keep it simple and pair the shorts with a cheeky graphic tee.
Look #2: Pineapple Print Chambray Dress
Get The Look:
Pineapple Dress | Sunglasses | Handbag | Marble Cuff
I’m totally pineapple-obsessed, but isn’t everyone these days? As you can imagine, I was drawn to this dress because of the pineapple print. This dress is so easy to wear and perfect for those hot summer days to come. Since the dress was so cute on its own, I kept the rest of the outfit quite simple. A pretty necklace from somewhere like name necklace official and a pair of statement sunglasses is all you need to make it your own. Jewelry and other accessories can make such a difference to an outfit!
Look #3: Pretty Pink Sweater Dress
Get The Look:
Pastel Pink Mini Dress | Backpack | Sandals | Tassel Necklace
When I first saw this pastel pink dress on the hanger, I wasn’t if it would fit well. Regardless, I decided to try it on because I loved the colour and layering. I’m so glad I did, because it ended up fitting perfectly. It’s also so comfortable, which is a nice bonus. One of my friends suggested that I might find similar ones by brands like Nicholas K and I’ve been thinking if I should go for some other colors as well. Anyway, isn’t it cute with the backpack and rose gold sunnies?
Look #4: Denim and Pink, Oh My!
Get The Look:
Pink Jacket | Floral Print Top | Step Hem Ankle Jeans | Necklace | Bag
This season, I’ve been obsessed with pink jackets, so it’s no wonder that this one caught my eye. I love how this jacket looks, paired with the floral print top. Also, these step-hem jeans fit like a glove. If you’re looking for a pair, I highly recommend you give these a try.
I hope you enjoyed these 4 summer outfit ideas from Lemonberry. Which look is your favourite?
Thank you to Lemonberry for inviting me to be a part of their spring/summer shoot.
