I hope you all had a great weekend and are ready for another week.
I’m only working Monday to Wednesday this week, because I’m off to Punta Cana on Thursday for a week of sun, sand and relaxation.
I am just not made for this cold weather, so I try my best to get away each winter. Some people I know are much more fixated on taking trips in the summer, but I definitely travel more in the colder months. I’ve been very lucky this year and have done a lot of travelling, both for work and pleasure.
With my trip south coming up, I started going through my clothing warm weather clothing. One thing lead to another, and now I’ve brought some transition pieces into my closet and put away certain items until next year.
The pieces I keep all year long are the basics of course – jeans, t-shirts, cardigans.
I’ve been buying a lot more t-shirts lately, especially graphic tees. I know I mentioned in this post that I’ve recently begun loving this trend. I have bloggers and J Crew to thank for that one.
While the outfit I wore the other day is definitely more appropriate for winter, if I switched the boots to wedge sandals, cuffed the jeans and threw on a light weight cardigan, I’d be ready for a summer night as well.
It doesn’t get more “me” than that!
Coat – Soia & Kyo // Cardigan – Anthropologie // T-shirt – Aritzia // Belt – Gap // Jeans – Mavi
Necklaces – Brandy Melville (pendant), Target (Short one) // Boots – Frye // Bag – Roots
Do you have certain “looks” that you manage to wear in any weather condition?
