You guys! I’m so excited about today’s post. As you may recall, in my last post, I mentioned that over the weekend, I spent some time in the Distillery District. We shot a couple of outfits there and I love how the photos turned out!
Because the Distillery District is such a beautiful and unique part of the city, you can always expect an interesting mix of locals and tourists. In my opinion, it’s as much fun to people-watch as it is to explore the area. Every time I visit that part of the city, I wonder why I don’t think to go there more often. It’s so charming! If you’ve never been, the Distillery District of Toronto can be best described as ‘Europe meets New York City.’
The weather on Saturday was ideal. It was warm, a little bit breezy and bright, so it was a perfect day to shoot some outdoor photos. We spent the better part of the afternoon seeking out shoot locations, chasing light, drinking coffee and enjoying each other’s company. It was our first time shooting together and hopefully won’t be the last. Oh, and if you’re wondering…yes, it was a date and if you ask me, it was pretty perfect!
As far as the outfit is concerned, this one is pretty simple. Since it was so warm, I decided to create a spring outfit with white jeans. I wore my new floral top from Gentle Fawn and threw on a navy cardigan for contrast…and warmth.
