You guys. It’s Wednesday March 18. MARCH 18! This means we’re just a mere couple of days away from the official start of spring. I can’t wait!! I’ve been buying a few new pieces of clothing from places like iHeartRaves to get me ready for the hot weather, but my friends and family have also been giving me some of their unwanted clothing too. At these transitional points in the year, I like to spend time going through my closet and getting rid of the pieces that I’m no longer going to wear. My friends and family are big fans of my closet clean outs, because it often means some goodies are coming their way. What’s old to me is new to someone else, and if they’ll get more out of a particular piece than I will, I’m happy to share. Usually. My mom is also quite keen on closet organization and frequently unloads some of her unwanted apparel onto me. Some of my favourite sweaters and tops have found their way into my closet that way. Her loss is my gain. One of the tops I wore in Punta Cana last week originated from my mom’s closet. Regardless of where it came from, the top was bright in colour, so it was the perfect choice to pair with my white boyfriend shorts. It felt a little more casual than my last spring break outfit, but it worked just as well.
