I can’t believe how close we’re getting to the weekend. Yes, we all love the weekend, but I’m especially excited for this one, because I’ll be attending Spark Sessions.

Spark Sessions is a fashion and beauty blogger conference, which will have a series of workshops, events and networking opportunities. I’ve never actually “met” other bloggers in real life, so it’s going to be a really interesting experience to not only meet other bloggers, but also to learn from them. Needless to say, as excited as I am, I can’t help but wonder, WHAT DO I WEAR???

While I’m sure there will be people very dressed up, I’ll probably stick to the basics, so I feel like I’m being true to myself, my style and my blog. After all, you can’t go wrong with basics.

On that line of thought, I’m really excited to introduce you to a company that specializes in the basics, Popbasic. They design limited edition, quality basics and trendy accessories. The concept it a little bit different because they sell these pieces as sets, and even offer some creative ways to think about styling them right on the product page.

Popbasic was so kind to send me the Frankie Collection to style and share with you. This collection is made up of a super soft grey tee, a fun polka soft scarf, and a belt that can be worn on your hips or to cinch in the waist. The pieces are classic enough that you can easily put together a casual weekend look, or something a bit more classic for the office. The possibilities on how to style their pieces are almost endless!

In a way that’s common for me, I went the casual route when I first styled the collection. I was running around town with my friend when I was away last week, and didn’t want to wear anything too fussy.

    I’ve been waiting for this review! I LOVE what they sent you. Also that scarf is amazing! All of their collections are perfect! Some of the older ones I want so badly! I’m so sad they’re sold out. How often do they release new collections?

      Hmm… I’m not sure how often they release new collections…I’d recommend you check out their Facebook or other social media to get the latest.

    Oh I’m super curious to hear your thoughts on the conference! I went to one about a month ago (GoBlog Social) and I was kind of disappointed in it :/ Granted it was a much smaller conference so that might ave been why they didn’t try so hard, but I didn’t find the tips very helpful. They were kindaaaa common sense. So you need to report back so I can see if I just went to a dud one!

    And I’ve been haring a lot about Popbasics lately. i really like how those simple items really jazzed up your outfit- especially that polka dot scarf. Polka dot anything makes my heart sing 🙂

      Hm, I’m really impressed with the conference so far, but it’s too bad that yours was a dud. That can be disappointing because there’s so much potential to make it amazing.

    I’ve been following Popbasic since it launched, but I’ve yet to actually try their pieces. I really love them though, and it’s so exciting that you got to work with them! This top looks too comfy for words. I need to finally just spend the money!
