Guys. It’s been freezing here this week. I don’t think it’s officially been called a ‘Polar Vortex’ by the weather authorities, but it sure does feel like one.
It’s been so cold that it’s actually painful to be outside for more than just a couple of minutes, even while wearing one of the warmest coats on the market. The price tag on a good quality coat is a little bit scary, but when it’s this cold, it’s worth it.
I know that I’ve been able to brave the cold weather in the past for the sake of blogging, but this is extreme, even for me. My photo sessions can wait until the weather warms back up to seasonal. That way, it’s cold, but I (probably) won’t get frostbite if I take my coat off for a few minutes!
A light pink lace skirt is just the piece to take our mind off of the cold, isn’t it? After I finally wore my pink lace skirt last summer, it became an instant closet staple. It was a no-brainer that I had to bring it with me on my recent vacation.
The more fitted cut of the skirt is out of my comfort zone, since I prefer A-line, but all I had to do was add a slouchy top. Easy peasy.
What I’m Wearing:
Top – Aritzia (Similar)
Skirt – Joe Fresh (Similar)
Bag – Roots (Same)
Booties – Arturo Chiang via Hudson’s Bay (Similar)
Necklace- Crafts and Love (Same)
How do you style more fitted skirts like this one?
