The Peasant Top

Peasant top - Spring Street Style from Toronto Fashion Blogger

Hi, I’m Jackie, and I’m addicted to wearing neutrals. I can’t seem to get enough! You know what else I’m really digging these days? Anything 70’s-inspired!

My new love of 70’s style started with the peasant top, expanded to include flared jeans and fringe, and one day, I may even sport round sunglasses…but that’s still a pretty big “maybe”. I’m also warming up to the idea of trying these overalls, but the jury is still out on that one too.

By wearing a peasant top, you can easily pull off the “bohemian chic” vibe. Depending on the type of look you’re looking to create, I’m giving you a few ideas below. Scroll through for more!

3 Other Ideas for How to Wear a Peasant Top:

Because of their versatility, there’s countless ways that you can integrate peasant tops into your wardrobe.

WEEKEND – Pair a peasant top with a pair of skinny jeans, or even your favourite boyfriend jeans.

FESTIVAL – Throw on a pair of denim cut off shorts, or even a denim skirt. If you are going to a festival, this is the perfect time to break out your floral crown.

OFFICE – Depending on the colour or pattern of your peasant top, try pairing it with a peasant skirt, white trousers and a large tote.

Are you going to be sporting the 70’s-inspired looks this spring and summer?
