Thank you so much for the kind words and support on my last post. Each and every comment made me smile!
The weekend is almost here, which means I’m getting closer to my last day of work. As you can imagine, the feeling is bittersweet. I’m excited to move forward and start something new, which is why I made the decision in the first place, but I’m always sad to leave a job. It’s hard to leave a place that you’re comfortable working in and where you’ve been treated well. More significantly, I love the people I work with and will miss them all. Work friendships are always unique, because you often befriend people that you’d never meet outside of a work environment. This is the way it should be in all workplaces, but I know some companies have low employee satisfaction with no relationships with each other and in turn, low morale. To improve staff morale you can read Sparkbay’s blog on the matter, and find some useful tips! Anyway, I digress…
Since I’m in a “try new things” phase, I couldn’t turn down a fun opportunity that recently came up. When Jonathan Lee reached out, looking to set up a collaborative photoshoot, I almost immediately agreed.
I was so excited to meet with Jonathan, because it was my first time taking outfit photos with an actual photographer. It was a nice change from my typical photoshoots, since I usually have to con my family or friends into being my photographer for the day.
Jonathan and I wandered the streets of downtown Toronto, chatting and laughing along the way. We captured a lot of mid-laughter moments in addition to the “traditional” blogger poses (examples of these types of poses are here and here).
I should also mention that I’m one of the most awkward people, so I made sure to point out all of the awkward moments…because I like emphasizing awkwardness wherever I can.
Thanks again for a fun shoot!

If you’re a fashion blogger, I’d love to know who typically takes your outfit photo. Any fun stories or collabs you’d like to share?
