Every now and again, we come across a piece of clothing that we need to have in our lives. It’s actually been a while since I’ve felt that way about anything. Yes, I’m aware that as a fashion blogger, that can be alarming. Alas, when I spotted this pastel pink moto jacket at Zara, I knew I had to have it.
This pastel pink moto jacket is the perfect layering piece. I don’t wear colour too often, but when I do, it’s usually pastel pink. If you’re curious, there’s evidence here, here and here. Anyhow, the jacket is warm enough that you can wear it now, but it’s definitely the perfect weight for spring. Despite not being real suede, the jacket is well-made, durable and has beautiful detailing. There are studs, extra zippers and a metallic buckle to give this jacket a little extra style and edginess. At just under $90, it was also a total steal. It’s going to be the ‘it jacket’ for spring. I can just feel it!

Oh, and did you notice my hair is a lot shorter? I usually hate cutting my hair, but it was time. It had only been about 6 months since my last trim, but I haven’t had a real hair cut in a few years. Not only were the ends were completely fried, but I was itching for a change. It’s been a bit of an adjustment, but so far, I really like it!
As a blogger, I have photographic evidence of all of the good (and bad) style decisions I’ve made over the years. Check out this post from October 2013 if you want to have a good laugh. I can’t tell which is worse – the hair or the outfit!

girl you know I’m all about blush pink moto jackets. I snagged my Banana Republic one back in 2015 and have been wearing it religiously since. Loving how you paired yours with stripes!

Hi! What are the care instructions for this jacket?! Love it, but wondering what the tag says ? Thanks!! 🙂
Jackie says
I’m sorry, I’m not sure on the care instructions. I’d just recommend avoiding the dryer. Maybe it’s worth googling how to clean faux suede?
Sorry I can’t be more helpful!
