You guys! This crazy, schizophrenic weather has been driving me nuts! One minute it’s sunny and beautiful – and the next minute, there’s a torrential downpour. It’s been a really weird summer, but we all have to make the best of it. After all, a poor summer is still always better than winter, isn’t it?
Even though I typically like to shoot outfit photos outside, we tried something different this time around. To avoid the rain, we did part of our shoot indoors. It was a little bit tricky to navigate the different type of lighting…but we made it work. Normally I would have my umbrella with me, but even then it can be difficult to take a photograph when it starts raining. One of my friends recently bought me the best windproof umbrella which I am determined to use one day soon, especially if this bad weather keeps up!
Now onto the outfit! I’d love to say I’m wearing a bunch of new and exciting fall pieces like some of the big-time bloggers…but that’s not the case today. Instead, I’m sharing the outfit that I wore last weekend to the Taste of the Danforth.
That being said, my t-shirt is new. It’s the Gap softspun striped t-shirt and when I saw it, I knew I had to have it. I already have some of the tank tops from the softspun collection and they’re awesome. The material is so soft and I love how perfectly it drapes. As for the sandals, I’ve had them forever. They’re starting to look a little bit ratty, but I can’t get rid of them because they’re so darn comfortable. Besides, I think they look nicer in photos than they do in real life, so you’d never know!

And…that’s when it started to pour again.

Thank you!! The lighting didn’t even seem like it was so great, but photo-editing is a wonderful thing 😉
BUT – that was my thought for the winter too…not that I want to imagine that feeling at the moment haha

YOu found a couple of great indoor spots for photos! I always find indoor outfit photos so hard to take.
I like your tee too! A nice knit like your cardigan is good for layering on a cooler day as well.
Hope you are having a lovely weekend 🙂
