It’s the middle of the week and the middle of the winter, which means my ‘snooze’ button got a bit of a workout this morning.
Realistically, it’s almost always difficult for me to get moving in the morning, even in the summer months. That said, I’ve come to learn that waking up early is easier for me when I know I have something new to wear that day. Yes, I’m aware that makes me sound like a bit of a shopping addict, but….I think it’s clear that I am. *shrugs*
Even though I love sporting the latest and greatest, there’s always that point in the season where I realize, enough is enough. As you may remember, I spent the holidays in Florida, where I did my fair share of shopping. Ever since this trip, my focus has been on the new (and therefore, more exciting items in my closet), so my older clothes are crying out for a bit of love and attention.
The other day, I decided to challenge myself to put together an outfit composed of items that are at least a year old. It forced me to think a bit outside the box when I got dressed.
What I’m Wearing:
Cardigan – Aritzia (Similar)
Top – Banana Republic (Similar)
Pants – Gap (Similar)
Boots – Target (Similar)
Scarf – Gap (Similar)
