In case you haven’t heard, here in Toronto, the cherry blossoms are officially in bloom! Believe it or not, until this year, I’d never gone to see the cherry blossoms before. The season is so short and in the past, the timing never worked out for me. This year I knew I had to make it a point to see them (and take a ton of photos) for myself. While most people go to High Park to see the blossoms, we decided to drive to Centennial Park, in Etobicoke. The trees may have been smaller, but it was worth the drive to avoid the crowds. That being said, I did end up going to High Park too…but I’ll share those photos next week.
It was a beautiful day, so we spent the afternoon enjoying the spring weather and sights around the park. Since we had so much fun shooting, we ended up coming back to the park after grabbing a bite to eat. The lighting was beautiful, so we shot some more photos. I realized after that it was a bit of a “blogger fail” on my part, since I didn’t change into another outfit for the second round of photos. Sometimes, you just need to enjoy the moment.
I know it’s not always clear from my photos, but believe me when I tell you that I don’t wear a common bra size. As a result, stores like Victoria’s Secret don’t sell my size.
If you have a large chest, I’m sure you can relate to the frustration that comes with shopping for bras and bathing suits. It sucks, but the reality is, if you go high-end, you’ll have much better luck. For years now, I’ve bought my bras at a local boutique, Coup De Foudre. If you live in the Toronto area, I highly recommend you check them out. The bras aren’t cheap, but they are worth every penny.
You may notice that in this post, I’m wearing an off the shoulder top with jeans. And yes, I’m wearing a strapless bra with it! Last summer, I managed to pull off the off-the-shoulder trend with a little hack. While it was a good quick fix, I really wanted a proper strapless bra this year. I couldn’t believe it, but Coup De Foudre had the perfect bra for me.
Now that I own a proper strapless bra, it’s easy to wear off the shoulder tops. Adding a few cute accessories makes the whole look so chic, don’t you think? This off the shoulder top with jeans combo is going to be on repeat all spring and summer!
