My morning routine is very important to me.
Since I’m not a morning person, I like to take my time getting ready each day. I hate the feeling of being rushed! If I have somewhere to be first thing in the morning, I’d rather wake up a little bit earlier than be strapped for time.
As someone who works from home, I can tell you that it can be tempting to sleep in during the week. There are days when getting up is just as big of a struggle as it was when I commuted to work. In order to stay productive and force myself to get up and moving, I’ve created a morning routine. I also only allow myself to sleep in on the weekends.
Unless I have a morning meeting, I wake up around the same time each day. I give myself about 5 minutes to check my phone, while I mentally wake up. Then, I get out of bed, get dressed, brush my teeth, put on my makeup and do my hair. Granted, I don’t wear my trendiest outfits, or a full face of makeup for a day of working at home, but it’s important that I make the effort to look (somewhat) presentable. Otherwise, I’m not productive!
Another key part of my morning routine is that I always eat breakfast. Years ago, I had to train myself to want breakfast, but now I crave it when I wake up. I eat the same thing almost every day and I don’t seem to get tired of it. And yes, I always need my coffee in the morning, too.
Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies
You may remember that I mentioned on Instagram that I’m going to be partnering with Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies. As a result, taking my vitamins with breakfast has become a new step in my morning routine. Nature’s Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies were created for women, by women, to provide a unique way to help support your natural beauty from within. This is one of the reasons that I’m proud to partner with them.
They contain Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Biotin, so they help to support your hair and skin, and maintain your nails. In addition to having these health benefits, as delicious strawberry-flavoured gummies, they’ve been easy to integrate into my routine.
So far, it’s too soon to have seen results, but I expect to notice improvements in my nails first. I’ll keep you posted!
