“A Sunday well spent brings a week of content.”

Sunday is my day to get stuff done. Getting stuff done makes me happy.

Yesterday, I ran my weekly errands. I went to the grocery store, the drug store, filled my tank up with gas, painted my nails, made granola and got a workout in. I realize that none of these things are “exciting” by any stretch of the imagination, but that’s okay. It’s these simple things that help me prepare for another busy week ahead.

It was too cold this weekend to take outfit photos, but I still felt inspired pull out my camera and take a few photos.

Here’s some snap shots of my life, from Sunday February 1st 2015.

Life, lately - Pretty Nail Polish from OPI

Life, lately - Cinnamon Pumpkin Room Spray

How did you spend your Sunday?

Great photos! I like the snapshot into your life. I try to get things done on Saturday so I can make it to church and relax on Sundays. Didn’t happen this weekend though.. I agree, it’s nice to feel productive.

Thanks Amy Ann! I’ve been having a lot of fun experimenting with my camera.

Some weekends, the whole “relaxation” thing just doesn’t happen…but it will be even better when it does!

I love being productive and impressed you got a lot done. For some reason, Sundays tend to go by REALLY fast for me and I get 2 things done. I really like the idea that you took photos of things that inspired you (darn, winter!). I was planning to take outfit photos and there was a huge snow storm. Thought I could brave it, and it ended miserably! Stay warm chica!

Seriously…the snow has been brutal the last couple of days, so there was no way I was going outside for any longer than I needed to! Hope it’s cleared up in your neck of the woods by now <3

Gorgeous photos! looks like a beautiful Sunday. Running errands isn’t the most fun, but I always feel accomplished once everything is done. It’s just nice knowing you’ve taken care of what NEEDS to be done. Our Sunday was spent recovering from Saturday and while I did make it to the grocery store there was nothing else productive about the day.

There is something enjoyable about a productive day, isn’t there?

Sunday is typically a rest day in our household, although I do a little food prep for the week ahead. Seen as I’m home most of the day – being a stay at home mum – I get things gradually done throughout the week so the weekends can be spent more as family time.

    Beautiful pictures!
