I realize it’s stating the obvious to throw out the phrase “shopping is fun.” I guess that’s why so many of us love writing and reading fashion blogs, isn’t it? We all love the feeling of wearing a new sweater or pair of shoes, but part of the fun is getting to check out so many different types of stores and brands.
Sure, I shop at the big mall stores a lot, and tend to gravitate to certain stores more than others, but sometimes I feel like something different.
When these sorts of moods hit, I like to check out some of the big discount stores, like Marshall’s or TJ Maxx, because it can be lot of fun to search for hidden gems. You absolutely need to be in that mood, and I understand that some people just don’t have the patience…but I do (sometimes)!
Some of my favourite items in my closet came from these sorts of stores, like my black leather jacket and some of my killer heels. More recently, I found the perfect pair of booties. They’re 50% black leather and 50% leopard and 100% awesome.
These days, I’m a sucker for anything leopard. I have a feeling you’ll be seeing plenty more of these bad boys.
