Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you spent the day with family, friends and loved ones. The weather here in Florida was absolutely perfect, so my family and I spent the afternoon on the beach. We had Chinese takeout for dinner and spent the evening playing the Who Wants to be a Millionaire board game. Um. Have you ever played that game? The level of difficulty of the questions is so random that it makes playing the game a total riot. There were a few points during the evening that we were all laughing so hard, that tears were rolling down our faces and our stomach muscles were hurting!
With Christmas behind us, it’s time to start shifting gears towards New Year’s Eve. Do you have plans yet? More importantly, do you know what you’re going to wear?
I’m a total grandma, so my New Year’s plans are never exciting. I’ll likely be going out for dinner, but other than that, I’m not really sure what I’ll be doing yet.
When it comes to shopping for a New Year’s Eve outfit, I like to keep my spending to a minimum. I’ve seen some lovely outfits on websites like https://www.ezibuy.com/shop/au/Womenswear/Plus-Size/Plus-Size-Evening-Wear/c/cat205SC6 but I managed to piece together an outfit with clothes I already own! I don’t see the point of splurging on an outfit that only gets worn once or twice. But – there’s so many great options out there that won’t cost you an arm and a leg. I know it’s a bit last-minute, but if you’re still trying to figure out what to wear on New Year’s Eve, I’ve rounded up a bunch of great options for you. Sequins and sparkle are great for a night out, but if you’re planning to stay in, how perfect is this Nap T-shirt? I’ve been known to fall asleep before midnight, so think I need it!
