If you follow me on Instagram (and if you’re not…you totally should), you may already know that I was in Vegas recently. I was there on business, and it was actually the first time I’ve gone on a business trip. Amazing. If you’re wondering.
It was also my first time to Vegas and while I didn’t really get to explore too much, it was quite the experience. With almost every restaurant somehow tied back to a celebrity chef, the food was incredible, and it’s just a crazy place to be! As you can imagine, the nightlife was wild. There were people everywhere and they all seemed to be headed for the same thing. The Las Vegas Strip. That is where all of the casinos are. We didn’t go in one, but a lot of other people did. Due to how busy it was, one of our friends suggested that we just go home and look on Best-casino.net to see if we could find an online casino instead. That was easier. I’d probably still be interested in going to one of the real casinos, but they did all look busy.
I was also lucky enough to have an extra day in the area before flying back to Toronto. My colleagues and I decided it would be fun to rent a car for the day, and drive 4 hours east to visit the Grand Canyon. It really seemed too crazy to actually be true, but sure enough, we did it.
(Oh and if you’re wondering, yes, I like my colleagues!! I can imagine this scenario would be an absolute nightmare if you don’t, but we had fun.)
We made a couple of stops along the way, including the Hoover Damn, but finally, we reached the Grand Canyon National Park.
How can I describe the canyon? In a word, it’s breathtaking. Honestly.
We were talking and laughing on the way up and as soon as we all caught our first glimpse, we just stopped.
I’ve seen photos before (and trust me, I took plenty), but they’ll never do that view justice.
I ended up being kind of upset we only got such a short visit. I would have loved to stay for even longer, exploring and taking in such a magical place. I will most likely go back for a tour visit of Grand Canyon because I feel like I only got a small taste of what it has to offer! Hopefully, I’ll find time to do this in the future but for now, enjoy some of the pics I got from this trip.

Have you ever been to the Grand Canyon? Have you ever seen a natural sight that left you speechless??
