Well…I’ve been back in Toronto for a week now, and I’m already dreaming of another warm weather escape. It’s absolutely freezing outside! Yesterday, I had brunch plans downtown and the 30-second walk from the parking garage to the restaurant wasn’t pleasant. By the time I got inside, my eyes were tearing and I was convinced that I must have had makeup running down my face. All I can say is, thank goodness for waterproof mascara. As you can probably tell from these photos, this outfit was shot while I was in Florida. Despite the humidity, shooting photos outdoors is so much easier down there.

On one of my (several) trips to Nordstrom Rack over the holidays, I scored these killer Sam Edelman fringe boots. I’ve been really into fringe detailing for quite some time, so I had to have them.

It’s a small miracle that I didn’t come home with like, 10 pairs of shoes. There were so many options to choose from! One of the reasons I love shopping at Nordstrom Rack is because they always have a wide selection of shoes and boots in small sizes. It’s not always easy to find shoes in a size 5, but it sure is easy there!

The fringe boots make me feel a little bit edgy, so I played that up when I put this outfit together. I paired a simple dress with one of my favourite leather jackets (which I bought in Florida last year). Since the fringe boots already make a statement, I kept my accessories minimal. The choker felt like the perfect touch to me!

    Nordstrom rack is my favorite!!! They built one like, a 15 minute walking distance from where I live and I have to force myself not to go there everyday lest I buy out the entire store and bankrupt myself haha!
    Gorgeous boots! I love the fringing details and it goes perfectly with that dress in a sort of Americana way. Gorgeous, as always! :]

      See, I have the opposite problem! We don’t have Nordstrom rack in Canada, so I get a little crazy when I get to go there. Living so close by would definitely be dangerous for the wallet 😉
