Happy Friday!

First, I wanted to thank you all for taking the time to wish me a ‘happy birthday’ yesterday. I had people posting on my Facebook, tweeting at me, and even sending me snaps to let me know they were thinking of me. It’s so much appreciated and brought many smiles to my face.

I’m not gonna lie, but my day was pretty uneventful. My mom and I hit up the mall for a bit of shopping, but mostly for Chipotle. Since I’ve been working for home lately, I made sure not to look at my work emails. After all, if I was working in an office right now, I would have taken the day off…so it’s kind of the same thing!

When I was at the mall, I picked up an adorable top from the J.Crew Factory store. It’s a simple piece, but the ruffle detailing on the bottom makes it special. I’ve noticed a lot of pieces in store right now with similar details, and even Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere has been sporting ruffles…so I thought I’d share a few favourites!
