The skies may be grey and the temperatures may be cold…but I’ve begun to transition my closet to spring. When the mood strikes, I run with it and that happened on Saturday night. Sounds like a wild night, huh? Really though, I was happy to have a low-key evening, since earlier in the day, I attended one of the biggest blogger brunches to date. It was fun, but large-scale social gatherings like that completely wear me out. I know I’m not alone in feeling that way.

Are you the type of person who enjoys going out and being social? Do you also crave alone time? If so, you’re not the only one. A few months ago, I came across this list of 10 everyday things only extroverted introverts will understand. No word of a lie, I identified with every single point! Here’s a couple that stood out the most to me:
If you’re not comfortable in a group of people you keep to yourself in the back.
Yes, yes, YES!
You have days where you want to talk to everyone and days where you don’t want to be contacted.
So – while I love to attend big parties and hang out with 50 other bloggers, I also enjoy quiet nights at home, organizing my closet. From what I gather, it seems pretty common to be an extroverted introvert. I always wonder if I look snobby when I hide in the corner…or if I look super awkward. I’m pretty sure it’s the latter.
Let’s talk about the outfit, shall we? I’m aware that this whole outfit is a blogger cliché, but I’m not mad about it. First of all, I’m wearing a (faux) suede motorcycle jacket. It seems like every fashion blogger has one. I’m sure you know that there’s been a lot of buzz around the Blank NYC Suede Moto jacket. After all, it’s gorgeous and comes in so many different colours. Believe it or not, I’ve never seen the jacket in person. I really want it in”Coffee Bean”, but because it sells for $250.00 Canadian, I’m too nervous to order it without trying it on. Alas, the pink jacket I found at Zara (last seen here) fit the bill perfectly…for now.
Second, I know every blogger owns this floral embroidered dress from Chicwish. Well, I had to have it too, because I think it’s really cute. So sue me!
