What’s the best cure for the January Blues?
Why, February 1st of course!
*insert laugher here*
Really though – can you believe January is already over? January is one of my least favourite months of the year, so I’m not sad to see it go. It looks like February is going to be colder and snowier here in Toronto, but at least spring is (sort of) on the horizon?

Are you wondering about all of the greenery in the background? Well, it’s because I shot these photos when I was in Florida and have been waiting to share them. Obviously I can handle taking outfit photos during the winter months, but some days, it’s just too cold.
During my trip to Florida, I found myself at Nordstrom rack quite a few times. You need to be in the right mood to have success there, but I love scouring the racks for fun treasures. I can spend hours (and a lot of money) in that store! The boots I’m wearing are one of my finds, which you may remember from this post. My dark floral dress is also from Nordstrom rack, which I mentioned that in my Florida Haul video.
For winter in Florida, you can wear a dark floral dress with a cardigan or a denim jacket. I definitely didn’t “need” the scarf, but it just arrived in the mail that day and I was excited to wear it. Truth. Of course, if you wanted to wear this same dark floral dress in Toronto right now, the scarf would be necessary…as would a down jacket and tights. Still cute though!
