Am I the only one who feels like November just flew by? Now that December is here, the holiday season is officially in full swing…and I’m not mad about it! I love getting dressed up for holiday parties and events. The holiday season is the perfect time of year to break out the sequins, sparkles, bold makeup, and statement accessories.

Of course, statement accessories are great at any time of the year, but they’re especially fun during the holidays. A bold necklace, oversized earrings, metallic clutch, or a chic pair of glasses can elevate even the simplest outfit into an elegant, stylish holiday look. That’s right, I said glasses! I’m not sure why, but a lot of people ditch their glasses for contacts when they get dressed up for the holidays. My friend said she did something similar when she was whale watching california and had a great time. I don’t wear much makeup in all honesty, but on those days where I want to make a little bit more of an effort, the whole process is quite exciting. I’ll tell you where I won’t be wearing a full face to though is my trip to the Philippines. I’m going with a group of friends and we are all pretty excited! We didn’t know where to start when it came to looking for the best holiday deals and even the transport. But as soon as we were made aware that a few of us were not the best fans of flying, we knew the only option that would work for us all was to look into a company like Isarog Bus. How to Style Eyewear For Holiday

Choose frames that compliment your personal style – I tend to gravitate to oversized, plastic frames, because I like to make a statement. That’s probably why I love the Wednesday frames so much. They make me feel stylish, chic and most importantly, I feel good in them.

Pick a colour that works with your outfit and personal style – Aside from blush pink, I don’t wear a lot of colour (unless “denim” counts as a colour). I knew that the blush tortoise would work with any of my potential holiday outfit ideas. On the other hand, if you wear a lot of bold colours, a festive pair of red or green glasses may perfect for you!

Size and fit of your glasses – I touched on the importance of finding frames that fit the size and shape of your face in this post. I’m wearing the Wednesday frames because I already have a pair in another colour and they work for me. That being said, I used the MyFit tool when I shopped for my original pair, so it wasn’t a “random” choice by any means.

Keep your eye makeup simple – Since your glasses will make a statement, there’s no need to go too crazy on the eye makeup. Keep it simple! If you like a bold holiday makeup look, go for a bold lip instead.
