Cargo Vest

in Fashion, Outfit Post on 04/16/14

Can we just stop for a second and ask ourselves a serious question? HOW IS IT APRIL 15th AND STILL SNOWING???

Seriously. I just can’t do it anymore! It was so warm out yesterday that I was driving with my window down. This morning, I had to scrape the ice off my car. (Insert pity party here)

Nevertheless, I left for work this morning wearing my spring trench coat, and carrying my bright coral purse. Sure, I had 4 shirts on underneath the coat, but at least I wasn’t about to give in and wear the ol’ down jacket. Yes, I’m stubborn, but I don’t care.

In addition to being stubborn, I’m also weak and totally willing to admit it. When I feel like my closet needs something specific, I can’t help but cave into the temptation.

I mean, it was only a matter of time before I got a cargo vest. You already know that I love vests, so it’s just plain logical that I’d need to add this bad boy to my collection, right?

Wait…don’t answer that.

Blame the weather on global warming and overpopulation. I’m just worried this prolonged winter is going to result in an unbearably hot summer. Here’s to hoping things return to their natural state! Also, I’m a big fan of cargo vests and stripes, this is a great outfit!

Love how you styled it! The vest is one of those things I gravitate toward but then can’t decide if it would actually suit me or not. You might have just convinced me to bite the bullet. I do have an Old Navy gift card screaming to be used… 🙂

I did the exact same thing when I decided I wanted a cargo vest – hunted everywhere until I found one! Actually I may have bought several along the way until I found the perfect one and then returned the rest 😉

This restaurant-quality dinner at home kiiiinda bl This restaurant-quality dinner at home kiiiinda blew my mind, so it shall live forever on my feed. It was just that good! 😉

These ricotta ravioli were part of the super limited @lapalmato x @jdippolito collab with @bondiproduce. I made some seared chicken breast and roasted asparagus to go with it - both from Bondi and both made next level good because of the sauces from La Palma.

It’s been 14 months and counting since my last in-person visit to a restaurant (lots of takeout), so meals like this are are special.

2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all r 2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all remember. It’s been a big rollercoaster, but there’s no one else I’d rather ride it with than @woodley.matt 🥰

We’ve endured so.many.challenges this year...but we’ve also had some of the best and most exciting moments of our lives this year.

I still can’t believe we bought a house, got engaged AND got a puppy this year (all within a month)! 🤯

Nobody knows what 2021 will bring, but what we do know is, it will start the same way 2020 ended: at home.

I also know we will finally be finishing and moving into our new home in early 2021, and I CANNOT WAIT!! As for wedding plans...ehh, it’s a little tricky to plan these days, so we’ll cross that bridge a little later 😜

Wishing you all a safe and happy new year at home! 🥳 (which I’m totally okay with - I’m a 👵🏻 anyways)
