Easy-To-Wear Cardigan

in Fashion, Outfit Post on 02/28/17

Printed LOFT scarf, grey cardigan from Saks Off Fifth and a tank from J.Crew Factory

Happy Tuesday! Is it February, or is it April? The weather has been totally crazy these days! It feels like spring is in the air. Yesterday, I even went so far as to wear a skirt without tights. Why not, right?

I also wanted to introduce you to the newest addition to my handbag collection: The Foldover Nude bag, from Poppy & Peonies. I recently attended a spring/summer preview from Poppy & Peonies and came home with the cutest clutch ever! You may remember it from this post on my Instagram. At only $29, it’s a total steal. That event was my first real introduction to the brand, but learning about the company made me even more excited to style this foldover bag.

Poppy & Peonies bags are trendy, versatile and affordable. All of the bags can be worn multiple ways to suit whatever life throws at you. The bag I’m wearing in this post can be worn 4 different ways!

Some of the items that I’m thinking of ordering are the Free People Days Like This Cardigan, re:named Summer Garden Midi Dress and maybe the Rebecca Minkoff Elisha Sandals (because they’re a total steal).

I actually wore a skirt without tights yesterday, too! Ah, please stay warmth! Love the bag. What a good find! And amazing to be supporting local talent.

2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all r 2020 has without a doubt been a year we will all remember. It’s been a big rollercoaster, but there’s no one else I’d rather ride it with than @woodley.matt 🥰

We’ve endured so.many.challenges this year...but we’ve also had some of the best and most exciting moments of our lives this year.

I still can’t believe we bought a house, got engaged AND got a puppy this year (all within a month)! 🤯

Nobody knows what 2021 will bring, but what we do know is, it will start the same way 2020 ended: at home.

I also know we will finally be finishing and moving into our new home in early 2021, and I CANNOT WAIT!! As for wedding plans...ehh, it’s a little tricky to plan these days, so we’ll cross that bridge a little later 😜

Wishing you all a safe and happy new year at home! 🥳 (which I’m totally okay with - I’m a 👵🏻 anyways)

Now that these have been gifted, I can share these Now that these have been gifted, I can share these!

I picked up knitting needles for the first time in 10+ years (maybe more?!) at the start of the pandemic. I bought a DIY unicorn kit and it took me months before I got around to finishing it. Still, I enjoyed it.

So, this year, I thought it would be fun to knit up a few gifts for Christmas presents.

My next project? I’m going to attempt to knit myself a cardigan. 🤭😲🤗

Christmas 2020 - like many things this year, not “normal,” but we made plenty of memories.

We had a low-key Christmas morning, filled with Bailey’s coffee, Miller snuggles (and weird facial expressions) and cinnamon buns. We finished off the day with a Jewish Christmas dinner: Chinese take out!

I’m finishing up the last of the gifting projects and then it’s onto baking cookies! 💁🏼‍♀️

I *think* I know what I’ll be baking...but I’m having a tough time committing 🤪

Happy thanksgiving!! 🍂🍁 Even though it hasn Happy thanksgiving!! 🍂🍁

Even though it hasn’t been a “normal” Thanksgiving weekend, there is so much to be thankful for.

One (very) small thing I’m thankful for is that I took Matt’s advice on forgoing my usual butter-only pie crust recipe for one that includes shortening. I used the pumpkin pie recipe from @sallysbakeblog - including the mix of shortening and butter in the crust. I think it was my best pumpkin pie yet!
(The Turkey was fantastic too of course 😏)
