If you’re looking for an inexpensive holiday gift set, look no further than the Kissy Missy Lipstick Set. I was excited about this gift set because They’re Real! Double the Lip is a new product and I hadn’t tried it before. Essentially, it’s a lipstick and lipliner in one. Just be mindful when you apply the colour to your lips. Otherwise, you’ll get the liner onto the wrong part of your lip, which defeats the purpose.

I wasn’t able to find the retail value for Gals Just Wanna Have Fun, but believe me, it’s an incredible deal! Almost as importantly, I was thrilled to see neutral eyeshadows. I’ve noticed that holiday sets often include over-the-top colours. More often than not, I stick to neutrals, and I think most people are the same.

Even though I love this year’s Benefit Cosmetics holiday gift sets, I have some critiques. First, more than half of the gift sets include Benetint cheek and lip stain. It’s one of Benefit’s signature products, so it’s not surprising. Benetint is just too sheer for me. That being said, if you prefer sheer makeup, you’ll probably love it. Another critique I have is that some of the products can’t be removed from the gift set. It’s not a deal-breaker, but if you have limited space, storage will be tricky.

Overall, if you’re looking for a gift idea that’s sure to please any makeup lover, you can’t go wrong with one of the Benefit Cosmetics holiday gift sets. Just make sure to buy them before it’s too late. I was at Shoppers Drug Mart today and to my surprise, they were already sold out!
