Fall is here! The leaves have almost all changed, the farmers markets are full of pumpkins, and the temperatures have finally started to drop. I also think it’s safe to say, fall fashion is in full swing. I recently participated in a fall photoshoot with local boutique, Lemonberry, where I put together 5 fall outfit ideas. All of the pieces that I pulled for the shoot are versatile, on-trend and will keep you warm in the cold months ahead. Click through to see the looks I put together. You may just spot a couple of fall outfit ideas that you’ll want to replicate!
Look 1: Patchwork Cardigan and Jeans
Get The look:
One of this fall’s biggest trends, is patchwork detailing. There’s so many great pairs of patchwork denim on the market right now, but this patchwork cardigan is more unique. It caught my attention almost immediately when I was pulling looks for this shoot. The cardigan is made by one of my favourite local brands, preloved. You may remember the vintage Levi’s and lace-up shift dress from preloved that I styled back in the summer.
LOOK 2: Elegant Lace Dress
Get The Look:
It’s not often that I gravitate towards a fitted dress. I’m usually self-conscious when I wear anything too fitted. Nonetheless, I fell in love with this beautiful lace dress, from Gentle Fawn. I love the fact that you can wear it to the office, but that it will also work perfectly into the holiday season. Now, who wants to invite me to a holiday party, so I can rock this look?
Look 3: Oversized Cardigan with Frayed Hem Jeans
Get the look:
When it comes to coming up with fall outfit ideas, the oversized cardigan is always top of mind for me. All the better when said cardigan has incredible pockets, too! This oversized cardigan is effortlessly paired with skinny jeans, or with faux leather leggings.
Look 4: Poncho Sweater with Fringe Details
Get the look:
I’m a big fan of fringe detailing, so I’m happy to report that the trend is still going strong this season. This poncho wrap sweater is one of the softest items of clothing I’ve ever worn. Oversized ponchos look great when you pair them with skinny jeans, to help balance out the look.
Look 5: Pom Pom Toque and Lightweight Down Coat
GET THE LOOK:
Even though we’re embracing leather jacket weather at the moment, it won’t be long before it’s time to break out the toques and winter coats. You all probably know that I’m not a fan of the cold, but I love Soia and Kyo’s coats and toques. I mean, look at the size of that pom pom!
Which one of these looks is your favourite?
A big thank you to Lemonberry for inviting me back to shoot with them for fall!
